Hansa oven buttons or touch controls do not respond, or respond intermittently.

Safety first: Turn off power before working on the control panel.

• Clean surface: Wipe the control panel with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Dry thoroughly.
• Dry out moisture: If the issue started after cleaning, leave the oven off for several hours to allow moisture to evaporate.
• Reseat ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and carefully unplug and replug the flat cable between the keypad and main board.
• Replace keypad/UI board: If specific buttons never work or require excessive pressure, replace the keypad or entire UI board as per Hansa parts list.

When to call a technician: If the UI board needs replacement or there is evidence of liquid ingress into electronics, professional service is advisable.
