• Check household supply: Confirm the circuit breaker is on and that the oven is receiving the correct voltage at the wall outlet or junction box.
• Inspect terminal block: Access the rear terminal block and tighten all screws. Look for burnt or melted plastic; replace the block if damaged.
• Check thermal cut-out: Locate the safety thermostat/thermal cut-out on the top or rear of the oven. Test for continuity. If open and resettable, press the reset button. If non-resettable and open, replace it.
• Selector switch (manual models): On knob-controlled Hansa ovens, test the selector switch contacts for continuity in each heating position. Replace the switch if it fails to pass power to the elements.
