How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect mains power before removing the control panel.
- Access control area: Remove the top trim or front panel screws to expose the touch interface board and main control PCB.
- Check ribbon cable: Locate the flat ribbon cable between the touch panel and the main board. Gently unplug and reinsert it to clean the contacts. Ensure it is fully seated and not kinked.
- Inspect for damage: Look for cracks in the touch panel PCB or burnt spots on the main board.
- Clean connectors: If there is visible oxidation, lightly clean the connector contacts with electronic contact cleaner and allow to dry.
- Replace faulty board: If F6 persists after reseating cables, replace the touch interface board first. If still unresolved, the main control PCB may also require replacement.
