Excessive steam or moisture escaping from oven door and control panel area

Safety first: Steam can cause burns. Allow the oven to cool before touching the door area.

• Inspect gasket: Check the entire perimeter of the door seal for gaps, tears, or hardened sections.
• Check door alignment: Ensure the door closes evenly on all sides. Adjust hinges if necessary.
• Clean vents: Locate and clean the designed steam vents so moisture exits correctly.
• Replace gasket: If the seal is worn, install a new Hitachi oven door gasket.
