How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and allow the oven to cool before inspection.
- Identify noise source: Run the oven briefly and listen to locate whether the noise comes from the rear, top, or door area. Then switch off power.
- Check convection fan: Remove the rear interior panel and inspect the fan blade. Tighten the mounting nut and ensure the blade is not hitting the cover.
- Inspect cooling fan: Access the top or rear and check the cooling fan for wobble or contact with shrouds.
- Tighten panels: Tighten any loose screws on side panels, back panel, and internal brackets.
- Replace noisy motor: If the fan motor is grinding or has excessive play, replace the Hitachi fan motor.
