Possible Causes

Failed convection fan motor, Obstructed fan blades, Faulty fan speed sensor (if fitted), Wiring fault between fan and main PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect the oven from mains power and allow it to cool.

  • Check fan operation:
    • Turn the fan blade by hand from inside the oven cavity (after removing the fan cover). It should spin freely without scraping.
    • If it is stiff or seized, the fan motor is likely faulty.
  • Access fan motor:
    • Remove the rear panel of the oven to expose the convection fan motor.
    • Inspect the motor and wiring for signs of overheating or damage.
  • Electrical tests:
    • Measure resistance of the fan motor windings; an open circuit indicates a failed motor.
    • Check continuity of the wiring harness from the motor to the main PCB.
  • Replace faulty fan motor:
    • Remove the fan blade securing nut from inside the cavity and pull off the blade.
    • Unscrew the motor from the rear panel and fit a new Hoover-compatible convection fan motor.
    • Reinstall the fan blade and ensure it is correctly aligned.
  • Test: Reassemble, restore power, and select a fan oven function. If E07 persists with a new motor and good wiring, the main PCB may have a defective fan control circuit and should be checked by a technician.
