Hoover oven shows E13 and the clock/timer functions may not operate correctly; oven may not start.

Safety first: Disconnect the oven from mains power before removing the control panel.

• Check timer settings:
  • Ensure the clock is set correctly and the oven is not in automatic delayed-start mode.
  • Try setting the oven to manual mode according to the Hoover user manual.
• Access timer module:
  • Remove the control fascia to expose the timer/clock PCB.
  • Inspect for burnt components, cracked solder joints, or damaged connectors.
• Electrical checks:
  • Verify that the timer is receiving mains supply at its input terminals.
  • If there is no supply, trace back to the mains input and wiring.
  • If supply is present but the display is dead or erratic, the timer module is likely faulty.
• Replace timer module:
  • Label and disconnect all wires from the old timer.
  • Install the new Hoover-compatible timer/clock module.
  • Reconnect wires according to your labels or the wiring diagram.
• Test: Restore power, set the clock, and verify that the oven now starts and E13 is cleared.
