Hoover fan oven runs but does not reach set temperature or cooks very slowly.

Safety first: Disconnect the oven from mains power before accessing elements.

• Check fan oven element:
  • Remove the fan cover inside the cavity.
  • Inspect the circular fan element for cracks or burn marks.
  • Test resistance; an open circuit or very high resistance indicates failure.
  • Replace the fan element with a Hoover-compatible part if faulty.
• Verify temperature:
  • Use an oven thermometer to compare actual temperature to the set temperature.
  • If the oven is consistently low by a large margin, the thermostat or sensor may be out of calibration.
• Replace sensor/thermostat if needed:
  • Test the NTC sensor resistance curve if data is available.
  • Replace the sensor or mechanical thermostat if readings are out of specification.
