How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow the oven to cool completely before touching the door seal.
- Inspect gasket:
- Check the entire perimeter of the seal for splits, burns, or missing sections.
- Ensure the seal sits evenly in its retaining holes or clips.
- Replace gasket:
- Pull the old gasket out of its corner holes or clips.
- Clean the channel with a damp cloth.
- Fit a new Hoover-compatible door gasket, starting at the corners and pressing the retaining pins firmly into place.
- Check door alignment:
- Close the door and check for even contact all around.
- If gaps remain, inspect and adjust hinges as necessary.
