Hoover oven fan is very noisy, rattling, or scraping during operation.

Safety first: Disconnect the oven from mains power and wait until the fan has stopped and the oven is cool.

• Inspect inside cavity:
  • Remove the fan cover inside the oven (usually held by a few screws).
  • Check for loose screws, food debris, or foil caught around the fan blade.
• Check fan blade:
  • Spin the blade by hand; it should rotate smoothly without wobble.
  • If the blade is bent, carefully straighten it or replace it if cracked.
• Access motor (if noise persists):
  • Remove the rear panel to expose the fan motor.
  • Listen for grinding when turning the shaft by hand; this indicates worn bearings.
  • Replace the fan motor assembly if bearings are noisy or seized.
• Reassemble and test: Ensure the fan cover is not touching the blade and all screws are tight before restoring power.
