Oven will not heat, display is on, fan may run but no warmth in any cooking mode.

Safety first: Disconnect the oven from mains power by switching off the circuit breaker or unplugging it. Verify with a non-contact voltage tester before touching any wiring.

Step-by-step checks:

• 1. Inspect the terminal block: Remove the rear cover. Check the mains terminal block where the power cable enters the oven. Look for burnt connectors, melted plastic, or loose screws. Tighten any loose terminals and replace the terminal block if heat-damaged.
• 2. Check wiring harness to the power board: Follow the live and neutral wires from the terminal block to the main electronic control board (power module). Ensure all spade connectors are fully seated and not oxidized or burnt.
• 3. Visual inspection of the power module: Remove the control panel or rear cover (depending on model) to access the main PCB. Look for burnt components, cracked solder joints around the main relay, or blown tracks. If you see obvious damage, the board will usually need replacement.
• 4. Test incoming voltage: With power restored and extreme caution, measure voltage at the terminal block with a multimeter (qualified persons only). Confirm correct supply (e.g. ~230V AC). If supply is correct but the oven remains dead or cold, the power board relay may not be switching.
• 5. Replace the power module if faulty: If the relay does not click when a heating function is selected and there is no output to the elements, replace the Hotpoint-Ariston power module / main PCB with the exact part number from the rating plate or existing board.
