Possible Causes
Loose data cable between UI and main PCB, Damaged communication harness, Faulty display PCB, Faulty main power PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate the oven from mains before removing the control panel or top cover.
- Inspect inter-board cable: Locate the multi-core or ribbon cable linking the display board to the main power board. Reseat both ends firmly.
- Check for damage: Look for crushed, cut, or heat-damaged sections of the cable. Replace if any conductors appear broken.
- Clean connectors: Use contact cleaner on the board headers and allow to dry.
- Board substitution: If wiring is sound, one of the boards is likely faulty. In practice, technicians often replace the main PCB first, then the display PCB if the fault persists.
