How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect mains before removing the control panel.
- Attempt reset: Turn off power for 5–10 minutes, then restore and try to set the clock according to the user manual.
- Check buttons: Press each clock button individually. If some are stuck or unresponsive, the fascia or clock PCB may be damaged.
- Inspect connections: Remove the control panel and check the clock module connectors for looseness or corrosion. Reseat all plugs.
- Replace clock module: If the clock will not hold time or accept settings, replace the electronic timer/clock assembly with the correct Hotpoint part.
