Possible Causes

Grill element insulation breakdown, Fan element insulation breakdown, Moisture in specific element, Damaged wiring to that element

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Do not repeatedly reset a tripping breaker. Isolate power and investigate.

  • Identify faulty function: Note which selector position causes the trip (e.g. grill, fan grill, lower heat).
  • Test that element: Disconnect the suspect element and test resistance to earth (see F07). Any measurable leakage indicates replacement is needed.
  • Inspect wiring: Check the wiring from the selector or PCB to that element for chafing against metal.
  • Dry the oven: If the issue started after cleaning, allow the oven to dry thoroughly and retest. If tripping persists, replace the affected element.
