Display shows 'LOC' or a key symbol; oven controls do not respond

Safety first: This is usually not a hardware fault. No need to disconnect power unless controls remain locked after reset.

• Disable child lock: Press and hold the designated key (often the 'Stop', 'Options', or a key symbol) for 3–5 seconds until 'LOC' disappears. Refer to the user manual for your specific Ikea model.
• Power reset: If the lock will not clear, turn off power at the breaker for 5 minutes, then restore and try again.
• Check buttons: Ensure the lock button is not physically stuck or damaged. If it is, the control panel may need replacement.

Note: Child lock is a normal feature; only treat as a fault if it cannot be disabled.
