Safety first: Turn off power before testing elements or sensor.

• Verify with thermometer: Place an oven-safe thermometer in the center of the cavity and compare actual temperature to the setpoint.
• Inspect door gasket: Check the rubber door seal for gaps, tears, or compression. Replace if it does not seal evenly all around.
• Test elements: Visually inspect elements during preheat; they should glow evenly. Dark spots or uneven glow suggest a failing element. Test resistance and replace if out of spec.
• Check sensor: Measure the oven sensor resistance at room temperature and compare to specifications. Replace if significantly off.
• Calibrate control: If hardware is good, use the control's calibration function (if available) to adjust temperature offset.

Tip: Avoid opening the door frequently during preheat, as this can significantly extend heating time.
