Possible Causes

Open-circuit fan-forced (ring) element, burnt wiring to ring element, faulty fan-forced element relay on PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power. The rear panel and fan cover edges can be sharp.

Ring element checks:

  • Remove the rear internal panel to expose the fan and surrounding ring element (if visible).
  • From the rear of the oven, access the ring element terminals; disconnect one wire and measure resistance across the element.
  • If the element is open or shows visible damage, replace it with the correct Ilve fan-forced element.
  • Inspect wiring for heat damage and replace any burnt connectors.
  • If the element is good, check continuity from the element to the main control board and inspect the board for a failed relay.
