Oven shows E15 and gas burners or gas oven function will not ignite (on gas or dual-fuel Ilve models).

Safety first: Turn off gas supply and disconnect power. Gas work should comply with local regulations; in many regions, only licensed technicians may service gas components.

Visual checks:

• Inspect the ignition electrodes in the oven cavity or on burners for cracks, heavy carbon buildup, or broken ceramic. Clean gently or replace if damaged.
• Check that the electrode tips are correctly positioned near the burner ports.
• Inspect ignition wiring for cuts, burns, or loose connections at the spark module.

Module checks:

• Access the ignition spark module (usually behind the rear or side panel).
• Ensure all spade connectors are tight and the module is properly grounded to the chassis.
• If no clicking is heard when ignition is requested and wiring is intact, the spark module is likely faulty and should be replaced.

Note: After any gas-related repair, perform a leak test and functional test according to gas safety standards.
