How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power. Work carefully around sharp metal edges.
Secondary sensor checks:
- Locate the temperature sensor in the secondary oven cavity and remove its mounting screws.
- Access the connector from the rear or top and disconnect it.
- Measure resistance at room temperature and compare to the main oven sensor; they should be similar.
- Inspect the harness from the secondary sensor to the control board for damage or loose plugs.
- If the sensor and wiring are good, the secondary oven control circuit on the main board may be faulty and the board may need replacement.
