Possible Causes
Clock not programmed after power loss, Faulty electronic timer module, Loose wiring to timer, Internal relay failure in timer
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: Many Indesit ovens will not heat until the clock is correctly set.
- 1. Set the clock: Refer to the user manual. Typically, press the clock or timer button and use +/- or knob to set the correct time. Confirm by pressing the clock button again. Once set, try starting a cooking function.
- 2. Check for auto mode: Ensure the oven is not stuck in automatic cooking mode. Cancel any active timers or programs by holding the cancel or manual mode button until the manual symbol appears.
- 3. Inspect timer module: If the clock cannot be set or the oven still will not start, disconnect power and remove the control panel. Check wiring to the timer module and reseat connectors.
- 4. Replace timer: If the timer display is faulty or its internal relay does not switch power to the oven, replace the timer module with the correct Indesit part.
