Possible Causes
Blown internal fuse on control board, Loose or burnt terminal block, Faulty mains filter, Failed control board power supply circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Danger: Work on live mains components must only be done with power disconnected and by competent persons.
- 1. Confirm supply: Verify that the wall switch and breaker are on and that other appliances on the same circuit work.
- 2. Inspect terminal block: With power off, remove the rear cover and check the terminal block for loose screws or heat damage. Tighten and replace as needed.
- 3. Check internal fuse: Many Indesit ovens have a small fuse on or near the control board. Remove the control panel and inspect the fuse. Test with a multimeter and replace with the same rating if blown. Investigate why it blew (shorted component) before re-energising.
- 4. Examine control board: If the fuse is intact and supply is present, the low-voltage power supply on the PCB may have failed. Look for burnt components or cracked solder joints. Replace the control board if defective.
