Indesit gas oven (if applicable) will not ignite or flame goes out shortly after lighting.

• 1. Clean burner: Ensure the burner ports are clean and free of debris. Use a soft brush and avoid enlarging the holes.
• 2. Check ignition electrode: Inspect the spark electrode for cracks or heavy deposits. Clean gently and ensure correct gap to burner. Replace if damaged.
• 3. Inspect thermocouple/flame sensor: Ensure the sensor tip is correctly positioned in the flame. If the flame lights but goes out after a few seconds, the thermocouple may be faulty and should be replaced by a qualified engineer.
• 4. Gas supply check: Verify that other gas appliances work correctly. Low pressure or a faulty gas valve must be addressed by a gas-safe technician.
