Safety First: Turn off power at the breaker before removing the control panel.

Check for stuck keys: With power on briefly, press each key individually. If the error appears when a specific key is pressed, that key circuit is likely shorted.
Inspect keypad ribbon: Disconnect power, remove the control panel trim, and locate the flat ribbon cable from the keypad to the control board. Ensure it is not pinched or damaged.
Clean and dry: If there are signs of spills or steam intrusion, gently clean around the keypad and allow it to dry completely before reassembly.
Reseat connector: Unplug and reinsert the ribbon cable into the control board, ensuring it is fully seated and locked.
Replace keypad assembly: If F7 persists, replace the control panel / touchpad assembly specific to your Insignia oven model.

Oven displays F7; keypad may be unresponsive or random beeping occurs.
