Oven heats but does not reach set temperature or takes excessively long to preheat.

Safety First: Disconnect power before removing panels or elements.

• Verify temperature: Use an oven thermometer to compare actual temperature to the setpoint. Note the difference after 20–30 minutes of preheat.
• Inspect bake element: Check the bake element for cold spots or discoloration. Test resistance; replace if open or visibly damaged.
• Test sensor: Measure the oven temperature sensor resistance at room temperature and compare to spec (~1050–1100 Ω). Replace if out of range.
• Check door gasket: Inspect the oven door gasket for gaps, tears, or flattening. Replace if it does not seal evenly around the door.
• Calibrate: Use the oven’s settings menu to adjust temperature calibration if the hardware is good but the oven is consistently off by a small amount.
