How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Turn off power before testing switches or removing panels.
- Test door switch: Locate the door switch and test continuity while opening and closing the door. Replace if it does not change state correctly.
- Panel light button: If the light is controlled by a button, test the button for sticking or continuous contact. Replace the control panel / touchpad assembly if faulty.
- Control relay: If the switch is good, the light relay on the electronic oven control board may be welded closed. Replace the control board.
