Possible Causes
Tripped house breaker, Loose or burnt power connection at terminal block, Failed line fuse or thermal cutoff, Failed main control board (no power output)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Work with power off whenever accessing wiring. 240V can be lethal.
- Check breaker: Verify the double-pole breaker for the oven is not tripped. Reset if necessary.
- Inspect terminal block: Remove the rear cover and inspect the power terminal block for burnt wires or loose screws.
- Test incoming voltage: With power on and using a multimeter, verify correct voltage at the terminal block (240V across L1–L2).
- Check thermal devices: Some JennAir ovens have thermal fuses or high-limit thermostats in series with the control. Test for continuity and replace any open devices.
- Control board: If power is present and fuses are good but the display is dead, the main control board or display board may be failed and require replacement.
