Clock and timer work but oven will not heat; display shows "SAb" or similar

Safety first: No internal repair is needed; this is a control setting.

• Disable Sabbath mode: On many Kenmore models, press and hold the Clock or Bake and Timer buttons together for 3–5 seconds (consult your user manual for exact combination) until "SAb" disappears.
• Turn off control lock: Press and hold the Lock or Control Lock key for 3–5 seconds until the lock icon disappears.
• Test oven: Set a bake temperature and verify that the oven now heats.
