Possible Causes

Tripped house breaker, Blown internal thermal fuse, Loose power harness, Failed EOC power supply

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Verify power is off before opening any panels.

  • Check breaker: Ensure the range breaker is not tripped. For electric ovens, both legs of the 240 V breaker must be on.
  • Verify outlet voltage: A qualified person can test for 240 VAC at the range outlet (electric) or 120 VAC (gas).
  • Inspect internal fuse: Remove the back panel and look for a small inline or board-mounted thermal fuse. Test for continuity and replace if open.
  • Check harness: Ensure the power harness is firmly connected to the EOC.
  • Replace EOC: If power and fuse are good but the control is dead, replace the electronic oven control.
