Possible Causes
Shorted touchpad membrane, Failed electronic oven control (EOC), Moisture or contamination in keypad ribbon connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before accessing the control panel.
- Power cycle: Turn breaker off for 5 minutes, then back on. If F11 returns immediately, proceed.
- Inspect keypad ribbon cable:
- Remove the control panel back cover to access the keypad ribbon cable going into the EOC.
- Disconnect the ribbon, inspect for corrosion, burnt spots, or moisture.
- Clean the connector gently with isopropyl alcohol and allow to dry fully, then reconnect.
- Test keypad: With power restored, see if buttons respond normally and if F11 clears. If the error persists, the touchpad membrane is likely shorted.
- Replace parts as needed:
- If keypad is separate from the display board, replace the touchpad / control panel assembly.
- If keypad is integrated into the EOC, replace the electronic oven control (EOC).
