How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off breaker and leave it off until the short is found. Do not repeatedly reset a tripping breaker.
- Inspect elements: Look for areas where the bake or broil element touches metal or has burn-through. Replace the bake element or broil element if damaged.
- Check wiring: Remove rear panel and inspect wiring for melted insulation or pinched wires against the chassis. Repair or replace damaged wires.
- Terminal block: Inspect the main power terminal block for burnt connections. Replace the terminal block if damaged.
