How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before servicing.
- Access lower sensor: Locate the lower oven sensor in the rear wall of the lower cavity. Remove mounting screws and gently pull sensor forward to access wiring.
- Inspect harness: Check for burnt or brittle insulation and secure connections.
- Measure resistance: Test the sensor as with the upper sensor (around 1080–1100 Ω at room temperature).
Replace the lower oven temperature sensor if resistance is out of spec or wiring is compromised.
