Oven beeps and shows a communication error; some functions may not work.

Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing any control boards.

• 1. Reset power: Turn off the breaker for several minutes, then restore power to see if the communication error clears.
• 2. Inspect harness: Remove the top or front panel to access both the main control board and the user interface board. Locate the low-voltage communication harness between them. Check for pinched wires, discoloration, or loose connectors. Reseat both ends.
• 3. Check for board damage: Examine both boards for burnt components, cracked solder joints, or corrosion. Any visible damage usually requires board replacement.
• 4. Isolate faulty board: If possible, follow La Cornue service documentation to run diagnostics. If communication errors persist with a known-good harness, replace the most likely failed board (often the main control first).
