Steam-assisted or moist cooking function (if equipped) does not operate; no steam is produced.

Safety first: Allow the oven to cool and disconnect power before accessing the steam system. Hot steam can cause severe burns.

• 1. Check water reservoir: Ensure the La Cornue water tank is filled and correctly seated in its compartment. Clean any scale or debris from the tank contacts.
• 2. Descale system: If the oven has a descaling program, run it according to the manual using the recommended descaling agent to clear mineral buildup.
• 3. Inspect steam outlet: Check the steam nozzle or outlet inside the cavity for blockages. Clean gently with a soft brush.
• 4. Test steam heater: Access the steam generator unit and test the heater element for continuity. Replace the steam generator assembly if the heater is open.
• 5. Control and valves: If the heater is good, verify that the control board energizes the steam circuit and that any solenoid valves open correctly. Replace faulty valves or control board as needed.
