Possible Causes
Failed touch control glass or membrane keypad, Loose ribbon cable between keypad and PCB, Liquid ingress behind control panel, Faulty keypad input circuit on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before removing the control panel. Glass edges can be sharp; handle carefully.
- Clean the panel: Wipe the control panel with a slightly damp cloth and then dry thoroughly. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the panel as liquid can seep behind.
- Inspect for moisture: If F11 appeared after a spill or steam event, leave the cooker powered off for 24 hours to allow any moisture behind the panel to dry.
- Check ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and inspect the flat ribbon cable between the keypad and PCB. Reseat the connectors and ensure there are no cracks or corrosion.
- Test keypad: If some buttons work and others do not, the membrane or touch glass is likely faulty and must be replaced as an assembly.
- Control board: If a new keypad does not resolve the issue, the control board input circuitry may be defective and require replacement.
