Possible Causes
Faulty pyrolytic door lock mechanism, Defective high-temperature sensor, Wiring fault in pyrolytic circuit, Control board pyrolytic safety circuit failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Pyrolytic cycles reach very high temperatures. Do not attempt to bypass any safety devices.
- Door lock check: Ensure the door closes fully and the lock engages when a pyrolytic cycle is selected. If the lock does not move, inspect the lock motor and linkage for damage.
- High-temp sensor: Some pyrolytic Leisure ovens use a dedicated high-temperature sensor. Test its resistance and compare with specifications. Replace if open or shorted.
- Wiring inspection: Check the harness between the lock, sensors, and control board for heat damage.
- Control board: If mechanical parts and sensors are good, the pyrolytic control circuit on the PCB may be faulty. Replacement is recommended via a professional.
