Possible Causes
Stuck alarm output on control board, Shorted buzzer component, Corrupted timer state, Liquid ingress causing short on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before accessing the control panel.
- Attempt reset: Use the timer controls to cancel any active alarms. Set the timer to zero and clear all programs.
- Power cycle: Turn off power for 5–10 minutes and restore. If the alarm sounds immediately with F18, the fault is likely on the PCB.
- Inspect for moisture: Remove the control panel and check for signs of water or steam damage. Allow to dry fully if moisture is present.
- Board replacement: If the buzzer remains on and F18 persists, the control board will need replacement.
