Grill element glows only on one side or cooks unevenly

Safety: Turn off power and allow the grill to cool fully.

• Visual check: Observe which part of the grill glows when briefly powered (if safe). If only one side heats, the element is partially failed.
• Check terminals: Access the grill terminals from the rear or top and ensure both connections are tight and not burnt.
• Test resistance: Measure resistance across each circuit if accessible. Replace the grill element if one circuit is open.
