Oven door will not close fully or sits unevenly, causing heat loss

Safety: Ensure the oven is cool before working on the door. Support the door to prevent dropping.

• Inspect hinges: Open the door and check the hinge arms for bending or excessive play. Tighten any loose mounting screws.
• Remove door: On many Leisure ovens, the door can be removed by opening fully and lifting the hinge locks, then lifting the door off. Follow the user manual.
• Check hinge receivers: Inspect the slots in the oven frame where the hinges locate. Replace receivers if worn or cracked.
• Replace hinges: If the door still does not close properly, replace both hinges as a pair to ensure even operation.
