Display shows DOOR or a door icon; oven will not start a cook or self-clean cycle.

Safety first: Ensure the oven is cool before adjusting the door.

• Close door firmly: Open and close the door with a firm push to ensure it latches completely.
• Inspect hinges: Look for sagging or bent hinges that prevent full closure. Tighten hinge screws if loose.
• Check gasket: Ensure the door gasket is seated properly and not bunched up, which can prevent full closure.
• Test door switch: On some models, you can hear a click when the door is closed. If there is no click, the switch or latch sensor may be faulty and require replacement.
• If DOOR persists: The door latch or switch assembly should be inspected and replaced as needed.

Note: The oven will not start if it does not detect a properly closed door for safety reasons.
