Possible Causes
Out-of-range oven temperature sensor, poor sensor connection, main PCB temperature processing fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker.
- Check sensor connection: Access the rear of the oven and ensure the sensor connector is fully seated on the harness and PCB.
- Measure sensor resistance: At room temperature, verify the sensor is near 1080 Ω. Replace if significantly off.
- Inspect harness: Look for pinched or damaged wires between the sensor and PCB.
- Recalibrate temperature: If the sensor is good but temperatures are off, use the oven settings menu to adjust calibration.
- If E2 remains: Replace the main PCB.
Note: Always match the replacement sensor to the exact LG Studio model.
