Possible Causes
Tripped high-limit thermostat, failed cooling fan, blocked vents, main PCB overheat detection
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker and allow the oven to cool completely.
- Check vents and clearances: Ensure nothing is blocking the front or rear vents and that the oven has proper cabinet clearance.
- Inspect cooling fan operation: Once cool, restore power and start a low-temperature bake. Listen for the cooling fan. If it does not run, test and replace the fan motor.
- Test high-limit thermostat: With power OFF, access the thermostat on the oven body and check for continuity. Replace if open.
- Resettable thermostat: If your model has a reset button on the thermostat, press it after cooling.
- If E3 persists: The main PCB may be faulty and require replacement.
Warning: Do not bypass thermal safety devices; they prevent overheating and fire.
