Possible Causes
Loose ribbon cable between touch panel and main PCB, damaged touch panel, failed main PCB keypad interface
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before accessing the control panel.
- Remove control panel bezel: From the front or top (depending on model), remove screws securing the control panel and gently pull it forward.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Locate the flat cable from the touch panel to the main PCB. Ensure it is not creased, torn, or corroded.
- Reseat connectors: Carefully unplug the ribbon cable, inspect the contacts, then plug it back in fully and evenly.
- Check for physical damage: If the glass or membrane panel is cracked or has liquid damage, the touch panel assembly should be replaced.
- If F11 persists after reseating: Replace the touch control panel first. If the issue remains, the main PCB may also need replacement.
Note: Handle the ribbon cable gently; damage can easily occur at the contact edge.
