Possible Causes

Open oven temperature sensor, broken sensor wiring harness, loose sensor connector at main PCB, damaged main PCB sensor input

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before accessing any internal components.

  • Inspect the sensor inside the oven: The sensor is a thin metal probe on the rear wall. Check that it is firmly mounted and not physically damaged.
  • Access the rear of the oven: Remove the rear panel (with power OFF). Locate the sensor connector and ensure it is fully seated.
  • Check continuity: If you have a multimeter, disconnect the sensor and measure resistance across its terminals. An open reading (infinite resistance) indicates a failed sensor that must be replaced.
  • Check harness: If the sensor tests good, inspect the wiring from the sensor to the main PCB for breaks or burns. Repair or replace the harness if damaged.
  • If wiring and sensor are good: The main PCB sensor circuit may be defective and require replacement.

Note: Do not bypass the sensor; it is a critical safety component.
