Possible Causes
Failed cooling fan motor, blocked cooling air path, wiring issue to cooling fan, main PCB fan relay failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker. Internal components may still be hot; allow cooling.
- Listen for fan operation: During normal use, you should hear a fan running above or behind the oven. If it is silent when hot, suspect a cooling fan issue.
- Access cooling fan: Remove the rear upper panel to locate the cooling fan assembly. Check for dust buildup, insulation, or wiring obstructing the blades.
- Spin test: Rotate the fan by hand. If it is seized or noisy, replace the cooling fan motor assembly.
- Check wiring: Ensure the fan connector is fully seated and wires are not burned or pinched.
- If fan and wiring are OK: The main PCB may not be energizing the fan relay; the board may need replacement.
Note: A failed cooling fan can cause overheating and repeated error codes; do not ignore this fault.
