Possible Causes
Convection fan motor speed sensor failure, obstructed fan, wiring issue to fan feedback circuit, main PCB fan feedback fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker and let the oven cool.
- Inspect convection fan area: Remove the rear interior cover and check for buildup of grease or debris on the fan blades that could affect speed.
- Clean fan blades: Carefully clean the blades with a non-abrasive cleaner and cloth. Avoid bending the blades.
- Access motor from rear: Remove the rear panel and inspect the motor and its wiring. Ensure the feedback connector (if separate) is secure.
- Replace motor if noisy or inconsistent: If the fan speed surges, grinds, or stalls, replace the convection fan motor assembly.
- If motor and wiring are good: The main PCB may not be reading the fan speed correctly and may need replacement.
Note: Proper convection fan speed is critical for even baking and error-free operation.
