Possible Causes
Open broil element, burned wire at broil terminal, failed broil relay on main PCB, loose connector at broil element
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker.
- Inspect broil element: Look at the upper element for visible breaks or burn marks.
- Test continuity: Access the rear of the oven, disconnect the broil element leads, and measure resistance. Replace if open.
- Check wiring: Inspect wires and connectors to the broil element for heat damage or looseness.
- If element and wiring are intact: The broil relay on the main PCB may be defective; replace the main PCB.
Note: Some models use hidden elements; access from the rear is required for testing.
