Oven door will not close fully; there is a gap and heat escapes during use.

Safety first: Ensure the oven is cool before working on the door.

• Inspect hinges: Open the door and check both hinges for bending or looseness. Tighten mounting screws on the door and frame.
• Check hinge receivers: On some LG Studio models, the hinge arms insert into receivers in the oven frame. Ensure they are fully seated.
• Examine gasket: Look for areas where the gasket is compressed flat or torn. Replace if it does not seal evenly.
• Test latch engagement: Close the door and listen for a solid latch. If the latch does not engage, adjust or replace the latch assembly.
