Possible Causes
Loose or damaged keypad ribbon cable, Failed touchpad assembly, Faulty oven control board interface
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before removing the control panel.
- Remove control panel: Open the oven door and remove the screws securing the control panel. Carefully tilt the panel forward.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Locate the flat ribbon cable from the touchpad to the control board. Check for kinks, tears, or burn marks. Reseat the cable fully into its connector.
- Clean contacts: If contacts appear dirty or oxidized, gently clean with isopropyl alcohol and allow to dry before reconnecting.
- Test operation: Restore power and test keypad functions. If F11 persists or some keys do not respond, the touchpad or control board may be defective.
- Replace faulty component: If the ribbon is damaged or keys are unresponsive, replace the touchpad/control panel assembly. If a known-good touchpad still gives F11, replace the oven control board.
