Possible Causes
Loose harness between display PCB and main control PCB, Failed display board, Failed main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before accessing the control area.
- Access control area: Remove the rear panel behind the control console. Identify the display PCB and the main control PCB.
- Check harness connections: Locate the multi-pin harness linking the two boards. Unplug and replug the connectors to ensure a solid connection. Inspect for bent pins or corrosion.
- Inspect boards: Look for signs of damage such as burn marks, cracked solder joints, or moisture. If the oven was recently steam-cleaned, allow time to dry fully.
- Test after reset: Restore power and see if F22 clears. If the error returns, one of the boards is likely defective.
- Replace suspect board: Start with the more commonly failing board for your model (often the main control). If replacing one board does not resolve the issue, the other board may also need replacement.
