Possible Causes

Tripped house breaker (one leg of 240V lost), Failed bake element, Failed broil element, Burned wire at element or terminal block

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before accessing any wiring or elements.

  • Check breaker: Ensure the double-pole breaker is fully ON. Reset if tripped. An oven can power the display with only one leg of power but will not heat.
  • Test bake and broil elements: Remove the rear panel. Disconnect wires from each element and test for continuity with a multimeter. Replace any open element.
  • Inspect wiring: Look for burned or disconnected wires at the elements and at the terminal block where the power cord connects. Repair or replace damaged wiring and connectors.
  • Control board: If elements and wiring are good and full voltage is present at the board input, the control board may not be sending power to the elements and may need replacement.
